Founded in 1986, the mission of the ACOFP Foundation is to champion comprehensive osteopathic family medicine that provides high quality care, improves patient outcomes and reduces health disparities.
The ACOFP Foundation achieves its objectives by identifying and securing funds from various sources, including grants and donations, envisioning a world with advanced access to comprehensive osteopathic health care for all.

Recognizing the pivotal role early career physicians play, the Foundation is thrilled to announce a new fundraising initiative that aims to extend support of early career physicians, ensuring they thrive as leaders within our profession and ultimately better serving their communities. In celebration of ACOFP’s upcoming 75th anniversary, this new “Family Medicine Forward” campaign seeks to raise $750,000 by ACOFP's 2027 Congress of Delegates for initial phase activities. These funds will support ambitious ACOFP programs requiring funding for early career physicians.
